DashMode
Landscape Mode for Apple Music
Only for iPhone
$1.99 · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Mount it and drive. Your Apple Music library in a landscape layout made for the road: big controls, time-synced lyrics, voice search, and a screen that never dims.
DashMode turns your iPhone into a car dashboard.
Mount it, start the car, and your Apple Music library opens in a landscape layout built for glances instead of stares — a navigation rail down one edge, artwork and transport controls sized for a moving car, and the time always on screen.
BUILT FOR THE DASH
• Landscape-locked, so it's right way up the moment it hits the mount
• Big, clearly ringed controls for play, skip, shuffle and repeat
• The screen stays awake while you drive — no reaching over to wake a sleeping phone
• The clock stays visible on every screen
YOUR LIBRARY, ALREADY OPEN
• Playlists, artists, albums and songs, straight from your Apple Music library
• Start Listening offers your recent playlists and a shuffle-everything button before you've played a note
• Sort playlists by what you actually played last, not alphabetically
• Swipe a song to the right to drop it in the queue
• See what's coming up next, and tap any row to jump straight to it
LYRICS THAT KEEP TIME
• Time-synced lyrics scroll line by line with the song
• Plain lyrics when a synced version isn't available, and the queue when neither is
• Set the lyric size to whatever you can read from the driver's seat
• Lyrics provided by LRCLIB
SEARCH WITHOUT TYPING
• Tap the microphone and say what you want to hear
• Dictation ducks the music instead of stopping it, then hands playback straight back
MADE TO LOOK GOOD
• Liquid Glass controls floating over a wash of the current album's colours
• Dark by default, with light and system themes
REQUIREMENTS
DashMode plays through Apple Music and needs an active Apple Music subscription and permission to use your music library. Lyrics need an internet connection.
DashMode is an independent app and is not affiliated with Apple. Set your music before you drive, and keep your eyes on the road.
