Recording, autosave and crash recovery are free forever, with no time limit. Only the transcript is sold, and the first one is on us. No weekly billing. A voice recorder that never loses your recording. Most recorders build the file when you press stop. If the app is killed, the battery dies or the screen locks at the wrong moment, that file was never written. Tapedeck writes continuously instead: every few seconds the audio on disk is already a complete, playable recording. Kill it at any moment and what you recorded is still there, waiting on the next launch. The free trial is now offered only to people who can still have it. If your Apple Account has used it before, the upgrade screen simply shows the yearly price instead. Before a long transcript, the note about notifications now has a single Continue button. You give your answer in the iOS dialog that follows.
