QuietCount
Count without judgement
Free
A counter for anything, with a quiet indicator instead of a verdict. Free, no ads, no account. On iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
QuietCount counts whatever you decide. Coffees, glasses of water, cigarettes, breaks, workouts, expenses. Name the unit and the rest of the app follows.
QUIET BY DESIGN
The indicator is a green, amber or red dot next to your reference, not a huge figure in red. A counter that scolds you every time you open it doesn't change behaviour: it makes you stop logging. And with nothing logged, there's nothing to think about.
The number stays a number. The judgement, if you want one, is a five-millimetre dot.
THREE WAYS TO HAVE A REFERENCE
Not everything is counted for the same reason, and the same number has to be read in opposite ways.
Do not exceed — green below, red above. For coffees, expenses, cigarettes.
At least — red while you're under, green from there up. For glasses of water, breaks, workouts.
Exactly — green only on the right number. For doses and habits that should stay steady.
You set the reference yourself, or let the app work it out from your previous seven days.
ON ALL YOUR DEVICES
iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Log it from your wrist while you're out, find the count on your Mac when you get back. Syncing goes through iCloud and needs no account.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, watch face complications, a menu bar icon on Mac. One tap to log, thirty seconds to undo if you got it wrong.
STATISTICS THAT DON'T OVERSTATE
30-day trend, last seven days, time of day, average interval between entries. Averages appear only once there's enough data for them to mean anything.
FREE, NO ADS
No price, no in-app purchases, no advertising, no account to create. We collect nothing: your data stays in your own private iCloud, where we can't see it either.
