Invite links now open the game itself when it is installed, straight to the room, with the code filled in.

City names on the board are bigger, and every city on a board is set at the same size. How to play has a drawing for every rule now, with shortcuts straight to the one you want. Fixed: the Build & sell sheet is fully translated, and Rematch works after continuing a saved game.

Six new boards: Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain and Germany. The game now speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and German. It follows your phone's language, or you can pick one in Settings. Your name is remembered for the next game. And the game can remind you when one has been left sitting, or when it has been quiet for a while — off unless you turn it on, and never more than weekly.

Play with friends holds up better on a patchy connection. A room that used to fail outright now tries again, and when the network really is blocking the server the game says so plainly and offers you a table against the bots instead of leaving you stuck. Plus the usual fixes.

Play with friends is easier to get going: an empty room now shows the invite code up front, and the extra rules are reachable from the online lobby too. Opponents are named after the board you are playing, so a game reads like a table of people rather than Bot 1 and Bot 2. Rejoin a game you dropped out of — your seat is held, and a bot covers it until you are back. Plus a quieter music bed, a tidier in-game menu, and the usual fixes.

Sound, music and vibration now have their own switches in the game menu, where they were previously pushed off the edge of the screen. Player avatars sit properly inside their rings. And your token's footsteps play for every square it moves, instead of only the first few.

Online rooms are steadier. A dropped move no longer freezes the game, a misread room code still finds the room, and you can send emoji and quick phrases to the table. Build, Trade and Mortgage now sit on the turn before you roll, a turn clock keeps things moving, and a refused trade finally says so.
