NOW OPTIMIZED FOR iPhone Duo — both screens, every fold. Twenty minutes after school: real reading and five math problems at your child's grade.
NOW OPTIMIZED FOR iPhone Duo — both screens, every fold. The game fills the cover and the inner screen, and folding or unfolding mid-mission keeps your place and your answer.
Odyssey is a school year of daily practice that a child will actually sit down with.
Start with the first adventure, a whole one: five missions, every leg, every grade, and the medal
at the end. If it suits your child, the rest of the year opens from Base Camp, once. It is not a
subscription.
Thirty-six adventures in all. Five days each. About twenty minutes a day.
Every day is one mission, and every mission is three legs:
RECON — a passage written for the age, most of them true nonfiction and some of them stories built
on real facts, followed by questions that can only be answered from the page. Ravens in Alaska. A
volcano observatory. A lighthouse whose log book doesn’t add up.
NAVIGATION — five math problems at the grade you set, built out of the same story. No worksheet
tone, no wall of numbers.
ORDERS — one follow-the-directions task, because reading every step before you start is a skill
of its own.
Sitka, the guide, hints when a child is stuck and never scolds. In a mission, a wrong answer gets a
nudge and a second look, not a red X. A hard question can be flagged and come back at the end.
Finish a campaign and a medal goes on the wall.
WHAT PARENTS GET
A field report behind a four-digit code you set: what was practiced, what came on the first try,
what needed a hint, how long it took. It is a log, not a grade. You can send it to a teacher or
to yourself with the share sheet — it never comes to us.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics, no trackers, no third-party code of any kind.
Nothing is collected and nothing is uploaded. Progress lives on the device, and a code from
Settings, Moving to another device, carries that child's whole year to another one (one code per child). The unlock sits behind a parent code and a grown-up question — no
subscription, no coins, no chests, nothing a child can reach alone.
BUILT FOR THE WAY FAMILIES ACTUALLY USE IT
The whole year — every adventure, every picture — is inside the app when you install it, so the
unlock opens what is already there. No download waits, no server, no signal needed. It works on a
plane, in a car, at a grandparent's house with no Wi-Fi.
Grades 3 through 8. Everyone reads the same story; the math changes with the grade (grades 4 and 5
share one set), and at grades 7 and 8 the reading questions change too. More than one child can play on one device,
each with their own callsign and their own progress.
Universal: iPhone and iPad, portrait or landscape. Family Sharing, so one unlock covers the
household.

Corrections to wording, facts and math across the missions, and adventures set in the United States now use US units. Wrong answers in the reading questions are now as long and believable as the right ones, so every question takes a real read. In Shipwreck Dive, Sitka is now a river otter. The Teachers page now says the reading passages run about 180 to 330 words.
