• A new look, matching ZapLock for Mac: folders grouped by where they live, the ones you can open listed first, and tidy one-line rows with details a tap away. • Folders on another device or an unplugged drive say where they open, instead of showing an error. • Lock All: one button locks every open folder. • Hide folders from the list, and show them again with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. • Only folders that belong to the signed-in account are listed. • Download several files at once. • Opening a large file now shows a progress bar with percent, size, speed and time left, plus a button to stop it. • Shared folders stay safe: if another device unlocks a folder in place while you have it open here, it turns view-only within seconds and writable again once that device locks it. • One Add Folder: ZapLock works out whether to protect a new folder or add an existing ZapLock folder, and refuses a folder that already holds ZapLock folders inside it. • Reliability fixes.

• Sharing fix: removing someone from a folder now also removes their key file while the folder is locked, so inviting them again works. • Clearer folder picker: it now explains why Google Drive and Dropbox folders are greyed out in Files. • Safety fixes for shared folders.

• Scan QR Code: tap + to sign another screen in, open a key hand-over, or pick up a folder invite. Codes from anywhere else are refused and never opened. • Safer keys: before unlocking, ZapLock now checks that this device key really opens the folder, and it only hands keys to your other devices once that check passes. If the key does not match, ZapLock stops with a clear message and changes nothing in the folder.

• Ask my devices: open a folder on a new device and ZapLock asks your other devices for its key. Your iPhone shows Hand over; one tap and the new device opens it. • Share by email: invite someone to a folder. They see it in ZapLock as soon as they sign in with that address. • Folder copies on a drive open here too, once the owner allows it on their Mac. • Clearer messages when a device is still waiting for its key.

• Share → ZapLock: lock photos, videos and files straight from Photos, Files or Safari. Face ID / Touch ID right in the share sheet. • Rename files and folders inside a locked folder. • Shared videos keep their name and extension. • Fixed a folder that could show greyed out and not open.

ZapLock Personal: protect as many folders as you like and share each one with up to 3 people. Free keeps one folder, and anything already locked keeps opening on every plan — a lapsed plan never locks you out. New: an optional Face ID, Touch ID or passcode check before a folder opens. Folder owners can require it for everyone they share with. Settings now shows your plan and the app version.
