FREE AND PRO
Free access includes photo identification, a catch journal, and basic guide information for catches in your collection. Catcharium Pro unlocks the complete guide, search by localized, English, or scientific name, fishing tips, and higher-resolution saved photos. Reasonable service and security limits apply to all plans.
Pro is offered through monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Available plans, features, and prices appear before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime access is a non-renewing purchase for the operating life of Catcharium.
YOUR JOURNAL AND DATA
Catcharium automatically creates an anonymous account for private cloud backup. Recovery requires the same anonymous account; changing devices does not automatically transfer your journal. Cloud records, photos, and related data for saved catches, catches you release in the app, and catches you delete from the app continue to be retained with no automatic expiry. Releasing or deleting a catch in the app does not permanently delete its cloud data. Closing your account in Settings clears the journal on this device and disables access, but the cloud data remains retained with no automatic expiry. To request permanent deletion, contact support@fria.ai; requests require verification. Other submitted scans not linked to these retained catch records are normally kept for 90 days. Restoring purchases restores eligible Pro access, not a journal tied to a different account.
BEFORE YOU CAST
The app and 447-entry guide support 10 languages. Names outside the guide remain in English, with scientific names when available. Legal and support webpages are in English. AI identifications and length estimates can be wrong. Verify fishing rules, protected species, catch sizes, and animal or food safety with authoritative sources. Catcharium is not a certified measuring tool.

You have to pay to use the app and you can only log 3 fish. Not worth downloading.

It was about time someone made this app. A few months ago I had the idea that this would be genius if I could make an app like this, sure enough you beat me to it. Congratulations keep it up, this is gonna blow up trust. (I even got lifetime pro because I love it so much.) My only request is if you could add estimated weight based on the picture, and like a fish map kind of like fish brain where you can see all the best fishing spots that have been reported. OOO and maybe even for pro, you could use AI to scan the pond and show like the best areas to cast. One last thing, being able to have leagues and to rank people based on total catches would be a must have too. All I know is that these are some things that EVERYONE wants and would love it. Thanks!!!

Great app, but…

It is a fantastic idea for an app, but paywall beside, the cropping tool is not the best, so you have to crop the image so much or even photoshop the fish into a background so strategically to get the app to think it is not a fake photo or you didn’t catch but to where the fish is cropped nicely. The app is also catered towards big sport fish and not micro fishers, which is a problem if one makes a fishing app only for big anglers, and you can’tsearch up species yourself, which is the worst idea when the ai is the worst at identifying fish like green sunfish as a long ear or something.

You're right about the cropping and AI identification issues, and we're working on improving both, along with adding manual species search. We're also planning to make the scanning feature accessible without a paywall. Really appreciate you helping us make the app better!
Good but one problem

I love the app but to make it a 5 star for me just consider making it so your scan is only used if you save the catch if you release it or say it’s the wrong species your scan doesn’t leave also a choose species thing where you can choose the species in case it gets it wrong
