Drop the files in, pick a quality, click Convert. That is the whole app. iPhone and iPad shoot in HEIC. Plenty of websites, forms, Windows PCs, older software and printing services still want JPG. Heica is the shortest path between the two, and it works on macOS 14 and later. DROP, PICK, CONVERT • Drag HEIC or HEIF photos onto the window, or drop whole folders and Heica finds every photo inside • Set the quality from 10% to 100% with a single slider and watch the estimated file size update as you move it • Click Convert, choose where the JPGs should go, and they are written there in one batch • Cancel at any time. The only network request the app ever makes is when you open the Other Apps list in Settings. REQUIREMENTS Requires macOS 14 or later. Converts HEIC and HEIF photos to JPG.
