New in 2.0: title pages that open on their picture, critics' scores, Related, the Grid, and every Oscar, Emmy and Globes ceremony. No account, no ads, no tracking.
Match Cut is a TV and film diary that answers "what should we watch tonight?"
Home opens on your own evening: the episodes out today on shows you follow, the shows you're partway through, and anything you scheduled, in one row called Up Next. Below it, the shows coming back, the premieres ahead, and the films you saved that are in theaters or streaming on something you already pay for.
SHOWS, ONE EPISODE AT A TIME
• Follow a show and it keeps your place. Its page names the episode you're up to; tick it and it moves on.
• Every season is a row of episode cards. Mark one episode, or a season at once.
• Hear the moment a new episode airs where you are, with the channel or service when it's known, and whether it's a finale.
• Start Watching, Returning Shows and Upcoming Premieres keep track of what's next.
EVERYTHING ABOUT A TITLE
• Every film, show and episode opens on its picture, with the trailer playing right there.
• Critics' scores, the Tomatometer, Metascore and IMDb rating, where they're recorded, beside TMDB's.
• Where to watch it, with your services first. The collections it's on. What people who liked it also liked.
DESCRIBE THE EVENING, NOT THE TITLE
• Pick for Me opens on mood tiles: tick Laugh, Thrill, Scare, Cry, Swoon and more, and it draws one show or film from your lists.
• Narrow it by genre, decade, rating, length, age rating, language, or what's streaming on your services, and save the filters you come back to.
HAVE YOU SEEN IT?
• The Grid shows a hundred posters at a time: tap once for Seen, twice for Want to See or Follow.
• The Deck asks one at a time: swipe right for seen, left for not, up to save a film or follow a show.
• Seen a show? Say how far you got and it marks those episodes for you.
LISTS WORTH WORKING THROUGH
• Every Academy Awards, Primetime Emmys and Golden Globes ceremony, every nominee in every category.
• Box Office: the year's 25 biggest films and what each took, every year since 1977.
• Sight and Sound, AFI's 100, the Criterion Collection, and the great TV lists.
• Every film from the big franchises, studios like Pixar, A24 and Ghibli, and dozens of directors and actors.
• Each counts how far through it you are. Holiday and seasonal collections arrive in their month.
EVERYTHING, FILED
• Following, Watching, Finished, Seen, Want to See, Maybe, Favorites, and lists of your own, with sections and an optional progress bar.
• See any list, collection or shelf as rows or as a grid of posters.
• The Logbook keeps every episode and film you logged, and when, with your notes. Log a rewatch from any poster.
• Schedule anything for a night and see it on Up Next that day.
• Viewing History charts what you watched, month by month.
PREVIEWS
• Discover shows the most popular titles on each service you pay for, by genre and by year, in an order you choose, plus the newest trailers.
• Browse your Plex server, and let Pick for Me draw from it.
• Hold any poster to follow it, save it, add it to Up Next or a list, or schedule it.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no sign-up.
• Every verdict, watch date and note stays on your device.
• No analytics and no advertising identifier. Trailers play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, only when you press play.
• Export your whole library to a file you keep, and import from Letterboxd, Trakt, Sofa, Marathon or a spreadsheet.
Free, with nothing to buy.

• A show's seasons are a row of episode cards; tap a season's name to jump to it.
• Pull a page down and its picture grows with you, and the page refreshes.
