Optimized for iPhone Duo to make the most of the full display.

Improved guidance on Apple Watch when headphones are required for playback.

WristSound now remembers the volume you set with the Digital Crown, so your next listening session starts at the level you chose. On first use, volume starts at 60%. You can now search your iPhone library for Albums, Artists and Songs using the new search button beside the menu. We’ve also refreshed the Play and Add to Apple Watch controls to fit the latest iOS and watchOS appearance.

Browse your Albums on Apple Watch by swiping through large cover artwork and tap a cover to open its tracks. Or listen by Artist with Songs grouped by Album and played in Album track order.

Control your music straight from your watch face. • Playback controls on your watch face: The wide complication now shows the current song with previous, play/pause and next buttons. Also available in the Smart Stack. • Refreshed complications: Compact complications now feature the WristSound wave for quick access to your music. • Your preferred starting volume: Playback now starts at 60% by default. Choose a different level in Starting Volume in the Watch menu, or adjust the volume while listening with the Digital Crown in Now Playing. • Easier song and queue management: Swipe to delete individual songs from your Watch, or remove entries from your queue without deleting the music files. • Updated Help: Clearer guidance on playback controls, volume settings, transfers and managing your music.

This release includes more reliable album transfers to Apple Watch, including fixes for filenames containing dots. Continue, retry or cancel transfers that need attention and optionally choose album artwork from Photos or Files and send it to your Watch. This update also includes confirmation prompts before deleting albums or tracks to help prevent accidental removal.
