Your shelf just got easier to fill. Add records straight from your wall: scan the barcode or search the catalogue by title or artist. No barcode on that old pressing? Search for it instead. Plus a brand-new opening animation.

Scan it, don't type it. • Add records by scanning the barcode. Sideby finds the release, fills in the details and uses its cover, so it can go straight on your wall. • Barcode won't scan? Type the number in instead. • Several versions on one barcode? Pick yours: colour, country and edition are shown side by side. • Tap a record on your wall to lift it off the shelf and turn it in 3D. • Add or change front and back sleeve photos at any time, with the camera or from your Photos. • New wall paints and wallpapers, an acrylic shelf, fairy lights, candle, sunset and moonlight lighting, and a new set of Cozy objects. • Sideby now looks at home on iOS 26, with a native tab bar, navigation bar, alerts and liquid glass buttons. • Your first record in onboarding can be scanned too. • Fixes and polish throughout.

Smoother first steps. • Find your first record faster: the record you pick during setup now appears instantly, with no wait. • Easier to read: the search screen in setup is clearer against its background. • Plus fixes and polish throughout.

Your Collection is here. • Collection: see every record you own, whether or not it's on the wall. Search, sort and filter by genre, decade or status. • Record details: open any record to see its details, edit them in place or remove it. Genres, artists and labels you've already used are suggested as you type. • Find your first record: during setup, search a vinyl catalogue for a record you own and watch it land on your wall. • Smoother scanning: a clearer capture screen, and you can add a record to your Collection without hanging it. • Easier navigation: the bottom bar shows where you are. • Plus fixes and polish throughout.
