A new look, built around your rooms. • Three tabs: Rooms, Network and You. Your rooms show as tiles, with Scan always one tap away. • New Network tab: live signal, your speed over time next to your plan, and the devices on your WiFi. • Live signal now updates four times a second and no longer freezes. • While you scan, a live floor plan shows the walls and where you're standing. • The scan intro and permission screens now appear only once. • Fixed: the 2D map could show a room flipped, like a mirror image.

A quicker start: no more waiting on a speed test before you begin. A short preview now shows how one walk turns into a 3D model and a WiFi heatmap. Close the app halfway through setup and you pick up where you left off. A 200 Mbps option for your plan, plus small fixes.

Clearer wording on the privacy screen, the price screen and in Settings, plus small fixes behind the scenes.

More of the app now speaks your language. The first questions, the plan screen and the speed units are translated, and counts read the way they should in every language: "1 day left", never "1 days left". In languages with longer words, the half-price offer on the price screen no longer gets cut off.

Lifetime is half price for your first three days. Whether you're updating or installing, the clock starts when you open the app: one payment, every room mapped, no subscription. The first few minutes are rebuilt. Each question says why it's asked, every screen takes its time, and before you pay you can see exactly what stays free and what doesn't. If you like, the app will remind you once a day while the half price lasts. Three messages at most, then nothing, ever. More of the app now speaks your language, including the chart that shows your speed dropping from room to room.

Now on iPad. Walk a room with an iPad the same way you would with an iPhone, and watch your signal paint itself onto the floor. iPad Pro adds the 3D room, just like iPhone Pro. The bigger screen is actually used. The map runs the full width of the page and the advice sits beside it instead of underneath, so a whole survey fits on one screen. And where the app used to say "your iPhone", it now says whichever one you are holding — in all fifteen languages.

Now for every iPhone. You no longer need a Pro to map your WiFi. On any iPhone, aim at each corner of your floor, tap to mark it, and walk the room. The coverage map, the dead zones and the advice all work exactly the same. iPhone Pro still gets the 3D room on top. The app now speaks your language. Fifteen of them, the same ones you see on the App Store. The "Measuring your connection" card no longer spins forever. If you're on mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, it says so. If your router doesn't answer, it tells you that too, and lets you try again. And the Done button while marking corners has moved out from under your thumb.

Now it tells you what to do about it. Walk a room and WiFi Heatmap works out where your router should actually stand, marked on your floor plan and on the 3D model of the room. It will also tell you when moving it isn't worth the trouble, and whether a repeater would earn its price or just add another box to your shelf. And it's honest about the parts of the floor nobody walked. A map that quietly speaks for a room it never measured is worse than no map at all. Room sizes and distances now read in feet where that is what people use. Language Improvements and bug fixes!
