Land Nav: MGRS & UTM Compass
Offline Maps, Waypoints & GPS
$5.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Read a clear MGRS grid, work offline, save waypoints, average GPS fixes, and use resection, pace count, Apple Watch and red night mode—no account or subscription.
Built for field navigation when a quick, readable grid matters.
Land Nav shows MGRS, UTM and latitude/longitude together in large fixed-width numerals, so you can read a position at arm’s length or pass it over the radio without losing your place.
FIELD TOOLS
• Large MGRS readout with grouped easting and northing.
• Four-part grid entry for zone, square, easting and northing, with validation as you type.
• Paste a grid with spaces, dashes or no separators and let Land Nav split it into the right fields.
• Offline maps with an MGRS graticule.
• Waypoints with shapes, colors and folders.
• GPX, KML and CSV export.
• Bearing and distance on iPhone and Apple Watch.
• Pace-count calibration over three 100 m legs, with terrain and slope adjustment.
• Two- or three-bearing resection with the error triangle shown instead of hidden.
• 60-second GPS averaging with CEP50 for situations where one fix is not enough.
• WGS84 and NAD27 support.
• Lock Screen widget and Live Activity for a live grid without reopening the app.
• Day, dark and red night modes designed for low-light use.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-in and no server are required. Your grids, waypoints and position stay on your device. Usage analytics is off unless you choose to enable it.
ONE PURCHASE
Pay once. No subscription, no ads and no in-app purchases.
Land Nav is a navigation aid, not a sole means of navigation and is not endorsed by any military organization. GPS accuracy can degrade under canopy, in valleys and near cliffs. Carry a map and compass and verify your position by terrain association.
