Tune your instrument, play along with drum grooves, and work on your timing and listening. Sowlea brings Metronome, Tuner and everyday practice tools into one app, with no account to create.
Metronome
• Choose time signatures and subdivisions up to sextuplets. Accent or mute any beat, or find your tempo with Tap Tempo.
• See each beat coming and keep track of today’s practice time.
• Use the power-saving screen or a stage view that is easy to read from across the room.
Rhythm accompaniment
• Play along with sampled drum kits, cajón and Latin percussion, or electronic drums—not just beeps.
• Fills suit each style: descending toms for rock, sixteenth notes over continuous double kick for metal, and ghost notes for funk.
• Each groove remembers your chosen fill interval and style.
Tuner
• Tune across the full chromatic range, with automatic string detection for guitar, bass and ukulele.
• The strobe view and per-string cent offsets are free. No ads appear while the tuner listens.
Song & rhythm practice
• Import a song, set an A/B loop on the waveform, change speed from 50–125%, and transpose up to 6 semitones.
• The metronome follows the adjusted tempo. Progressive looping, saved practice sections and saving as a lesson require Sowlea Plus.
Tools for your daily practice
• Piano, classical guitar, steel-string guitar, electric guitar, electric bass and double bass—all six sampled instruments are free.
• Explore chord shapes with a finger-by-finger guide to strings and frets.
• Practice intervals, chord qualities, solfège recognition and rhythm dictation, plus a microphone-based sing-the-answer exercise. Advanced levels require Sowlea Plus.
• Ensemble Studio offers 2 tracks for recording, mixing, saving and exporting for free; Sowlea Plus expands it to 5 tracks.
Privacy and your data
• No Sowlea account or sign-up is required. Settings, recordings and practice history are stored on your device.
• The microphone is used only for tuning, the sing-the-answer ear-training exercise, studio latency calibration, or recording.
Ads stay out of timing and tuning
• Ads never appear while the metronome is playing or the tuner is listening.
• A banner may appear on an idle screen. Full-screen ads may appear only after 10 completed practice sessions, at most once a day.
Sowlea Plus
• An optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. Unlocks the following features.
• The advanced rhythm library and advanced levels in Ear training.
• Instrument performance recording and 5-track Ensemble Studio.
• Custom rhythms, Setlists, saved practice sections and lessons.
• Coach modes (tempo ramps, random muting, swing) and polyrhythm.
• Removes all ads.
Interface available in 30 languages.
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Links from the website and App Store pages now open the tuner, chord finder, studio and other tools directly
• Recently used tools appear as small tiles; new icon for the pattern finder; simple drawings on empty screens
• Neater line breaks with large text, and tempo names are no longer cut off on iPhone
• Studio confirmations are now in-app panels, translations are complete, plus many small fixes
