EZ RecX brings screen recording and editing together in one app. Whether you are creating a tutorial, recording a presentation, or demonstrating software, you can choose the capture area, audio source, and quality that fit your needs. When recording is finished, use the timeline to shape the video.
【Three recording modes】
• Entire Screen: Capture everything happening on your screen.
• Workspace: Record the usable desktop area without the menu bar or Dock.
• Custom Area: Drag to select an area or enter its width and height for precise framing.
【Record picture and sound together】
Choose system audio, your microphone, or both. You can also record without audio when a silent demonstration is all you need.
【Add your camera】
Include your camera image in a screen recording to make tutorials, presentations, and walkthroughs more personal.
【Edit right after recording】
Open the preview and editor to work directly with the video and audio you just recorded—no need to import them into another editing app.
• Split, trim, move, or delete clips on the timeline. Later video can close the gap according to ripple-edit rules.
• Start with one video and one audio track. Add a second of each when you need an upper video layer or overlapping audio; each is limited to two tracks.
• Adjust volume points and fades on the audio waveform, or overlap two audio tracks to create a crossfade. You can turn the picture black and mute the audio independently.
• Add a simple visual transition, and undo or redo edits. When finished, choose a file name and save location for an edited copy. Your original recording is not overwritten.
【Choose the quality you need】
Select 720p, 1080p, 1440p, or up to 4K at a target frame rate of 30 fps. Actual output resolution depends on the capture area, display, and selected settings.
【Familiar video formats】
EZ RecX supports H.264 encoding and can save recordings as MP4 or MOV for easy playback, editing, and sharing.
【Simple controls and recording shortcuts】
After choosing a capture area, start recording from the main window or press Option + A. Press Option + S to stop and save. A skippable first-launch tutorial helps you get started.
【Your files stay in your control】
Choose where to save your files. Recording and editing are processed on your device. The app does not upload your content to the developer, and no account is required.
【Interface in four languages】
Available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese.
