NetCurb shows which identified apps are using the internet on this Mac, separates upload and download totals, and lets you limit or block the apps that should wait. Create a Travel Hotspot profile with tighter per-app allowances. Select it manually, match the hotspot’s Wi-Fi name, or use the costly-connection match when macOS identifies the network as costly. NetCurb measures this Mac only—it does not read your carrier-plan balance or usage from other devices.
