Meet LumaMark 1.1: math and Mermaid diagrams, footnote links and collapsible content. Preview, copy code and read in light or dark mode. Press Space. See your Markdown clearly. LumaMark is a Markdown reader and Quick Look tool for Mac. Select a file and press Space, or drag it into the app to read project READMEs, technical documents and personal notes without opening an editor. Math and diagrams, in context Version 1.1 renders inline and display math, plus Mermaid flowcharts, sequence diagrams and more. Expand a diagram’s source to inspect and copy it. Math, diagrams, fonts and syntax highlighting are bundled with the app and render without an internet connection. Follow the structure Read CommonMark and GitHub Flavored Markdown, tables, read-only task lists and footnotes. Follow links to headings and footnotes, expand collapsible sections, and view SVG images and filtered HTML, including tables with merged cells. Readable code and longer documents Code blocks include syntax highlighting, language labels and copy buttons. Long lines scroll within the block. Code, math and diagrams are processed as you reach them; return from Settings or Contact Developer and keep your reading position. Make yourself at home Choose light or dark mode and keep your preference. Reopen previews to apply theme changes. Authorize folders for local images and manage or revoke access in Settings. Keep the main app running for the first preview after authorization. Get Started offers guidance and examples; Contact Developer lets you copy an email address or open a draft. Your documents stay on your Mac Reading does not change your files or upload document content. Document scripts and unsafe HTML are filtered out. HTTPS images are supported; loading them contacts their servers, which can see your IP address. Good to know: • Requires macOS 14 or later. • You may need to enable the Quick Look extension in System Settings. • Supports .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkd and .mkdn files; UTF-8 documents up to 5 MiB. • Available in 19 interface languages, following your macOS language settings. • Built for reading and previews, without document editing or export.
