Knitting a project that combines several cable, lace or colorwork charts? RowRibbon uses your project's current row to find the row to read in each chart, even when their repeats and starting positions differ. With Pro, one advance moves all your chart views together—each to its own place.
SEE THE REPEATS WORK TOGETHER
A 12-row chart and a 24-row chart restart at project row 25, while a 36-row chart continues at row 25. RowRibbon displays strips of your original PDF together in one vertically stacked reading view, keeping the chart symbols intact. Try this 24-to-25 change free with the included practice charts.
BUILD A READING VIEW FOR YOUR PROJECT
Import a PDF you have permission to use. Select up to four rectangular chart areas from pages of that same PDF. For each chart, enter its drawn-row count, reading direction, repeat and starting position. Compare the first and last row previews with your original before you begin. Setup is manual; RowRibbon does not detect or interpret chart symbols.
FOLLOW ONE PROJECT POSITION
Finish a row, then advance once. Step back or jump to a project row when needed. Each chart calculates its own position from the mapping you entered. Open a chart's original page to check its key and surrounding rows, then return to your reading view. Your project row, chart zoom and horizontal positions are saved for your next session.
TRY YOUR PDF BEFORE PRO
PDF import, chart setup, single-chart reading and a static multi-chart preview are free. The included practice charts also allow free synchronized reading. RowRibbon Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase for synchronized reading of 2–4 charts from your own PDF. There is no subscription or timed trial. Without Pro, your files, single-chart reading and exports remain available. Restore purchases from Help and settings > RowRibbon Pro.
CHECK YOUR PATTERN'S ROW MAPPING
Charts must be rectangular with equal-height drawn rows. Printed row numbers can increase by 1 or 2. Separately specify whether a drawn row corresponds to every project row or every second row. For omitted rows, follow the original pattern when prompted. RowRibbon never generates stitches or wrong-side instructions.
PDFs can be up to 50 MB and 1,000 pages, with up to 500 drawn rows per chart. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Scanned symbols may remain blurry when enlarged. Preview your own file before purchasing; if your charts already fit comfortably in your current tool, extra setup may not help.
KEEP YOUR PROJECT
Export the original PDF or a project backup containing the PDF, chart settings and reading position. Import a backup as a separate project. PDF export alone does not preserve chart settings.
No RowRibbon account, advertising or analytics SDK. Project files are stored on your device; Apple handles purchases. Export destinations, device backups and Files providers follow your iOS and provider settings.
