Drop anything mid-drag and pick it up wherever you land. Files, photos, links and text, held on a glass shelf at the edge of your screen. Toss is a shelf for drag and drop. Start dragging anything and a small glass shelf slides in at the edge of your screen. Drop it there, go wherever you were going, then drag it back out. No hotkey to remember, no window to line up. WHAT LANDS ON IT Files from Finder. Photos from Photos. Images and links dragged off any web page. Attachments from Mail. Text from any document. If you can drag it, Toss will hold it. IT KEEPS ITS OWN COPY Everything you drop is copied into Toss straight away. Move the original, rename it, put it in the bin: what is on the shelf still works, and still opens. The shelf comes back exactly as you left it, however many times you quit or restart. EVERY ITEM, ONE POINT AWAY Point at anything on the shelf to remove it, take a Quick Look, or pin it so it stays put. Space, Return, Delete, Command-A and Command-C all work. Control-Option-Command-T calls the shelf from any app. TAKE IT ANYWHERE Drag straight back out into any app or any folder. Toss hands over a real file, so even apps that only accept a promise get exactly what they asked for. Items stay on the shelf unless you ask for them to be removed. BUILT FOR THIS VERSION OF macOS Liquid Glass throughout. Full keyboard control. VoiceOver labels on everything. Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast are all respected, not bolted on. IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR MAC No account. No cloud. No tracking. Nothing is collected. Toss reaches the network for exactly two things, both because you asked it to: reading the title of a link you dropped, and fetching a picture you dragged off a web page.
