No names to type, no endless lists to scroll, and no portions measured in American cups. Take a photo, and the app recognises the dish and breaks it down ingredient by ingredient, with grams, calories and macros next to each one.
Every feature described below, photo recognition, barcode scanning and nutrition label reading included, requires a Quanto Premium subscription. The first 3 days are free.
Note: Quanto is an Italian app. The interface, the food names and the portions are all in Italian.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Photograph what you are about to eat.
2. Quanto recognises the dish and lists the ingredients one by one.
3. Check it, correct it if needed, save it to your diary.
BUILT FOR HOW ITALY EATS
Five real meals: colazione, pranzo, merenda, aperitivo, cena. Aperitivo is a meal, not a snack, and no other app treats it as one.
Portions in etti, plates of pasta, slices, spoonfuls. No cups and no ounces.
LARN reference portions for pasta, rice, bread and everyday dishes.
It recognises home cooking and regional dishes, not just the chicken salad.
CORRECT IT IN YOUR OWN WORDS
When the recognition gets something wrong, you do not start over. Write "senza besciamella" or "porzione doppia" and the numbers update. Every gram and every value stays editable by hand.

QUANTO PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION
Quanto Premium unlocks the whole app: dish recognition from a photograph, barcode scanning, nutrition label reading, search and manual entry, the diary and your daily targets.
The free trial lasts 3 days and is available once per Apple ID.
When the trial ends the subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you pick, at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before it renews.
