Snory: Bedtime Story Wheel

Your voice, their adventure

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Your voice at bedtime, wherever you are. Record once, and Snory reads it aloud in your voice. Your child chooses the story's path. 180 gentle, hand-written tales, no ads. Your voice, at bedtime, wherever you are. Record a story once in your own voice and Snory reads it to your child in yours, page by page. A work trip, a late shift, a different time zone: the story still sounds like you. And when you are there, your child gets to decide how it goes. Snory is a choose-your-adventure storybook for bedtime. Spin the magic wheel, pick the topic it lands on, and the story begins reading itself aloud in a warm storyteller's voice. Then it stops and asks: does she open the door, or follow the singing instead? Five times in every story, your child chooses. The story listens. HOW IT WORKS • Spin the wheel and pick from three story ideas • Every page is read aloud, so a pre-reader can play alone • Five choices per story, and the tale really does change • The pictures change as the adventure moves along Every story runs 12 to 16 pages. Long enough to settle into, short enough to finish before eyes get heavy. 180 ADVENTURES, ALL WRITTEN BY HAND Nothing here is made up on the spot. All 180 stories were written and illustrated in advance, every branch of them, so each path has a real beginning, a proper middle, and the kind of ending a child asks for again tomorrow. They are gentle by design, even the spooky ones. The adventures live on ten themed wheels: • Dreamland: cosy starter tales of forests, space, oceans and castles • Wonder Worlds: dinosaurs, circuses, deserts, jungles, winter, balloons • Spooky Tales: friendly, not-too-scary fun • Epic Fantasy: long, sweeping quests with dragons and wizards • Tech Fantasy: bright, kind futures • Pirate Seas: treasure and moonlit tides • Wild Safari: warm savanna nights • Fairy Tales: once upon a time, happily ever after • Busy Wheels: sleepy rides on wheels and wings • Garden Patch: quiet tales from the veggie patch READ IN YOUR OWN VOICE Record yourself reading a story and Snory plays your voice instead of the narrator's. Your words, your pauses, at your child's bedtime. Recordings live on your device. Send one to the other parent as a file, and their voice can read a story too. MADE FOR FAMILIES, NOT FOR ATTENTION • No advertising of any kind • No account, no sign-up, nothing to log in to • A grown-up question guards the shop and the settings • The starter wheel works with no internet at all • Built for a tablet propped up at bedtime SEVEN LANGUAGES Read the app and every story in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean or Chinese. Narration is in English. WHAT'S FREE, AND WHAT ISN'T Snory is free to start: three adventures every day on the Dreamland wheel, with ten slots to save the ones worth keeping. If your family wants more, the other nine wheels are one-time purchases. Buy a wheel once and it is yours to keep, on any device signed in to the same account. Recording in your own voice is a one-time unlock too. There is also an optional plan for unlimited stories, hands-free playback, recording your own voice, and two extra wheels to borrow that change every day. No subscription is needed to enjoy Snory, and saved stories stay readable forever, even if a plan ends. Sweet dreams.
