ConvertPro: Unit Converter

Fractions, Trades & Tools

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Type 7 3/8 in, read 187.325 mm. Fractional inches, compound measurements and trade calculators that work in Airplane Mode. No account, no ads, no tracking. Get the measurement. Get the answer. Get back to work. ConvertPro is a measurement toolkit for people who work with their hands — trades, technicians, makers and engineers. It opens on the converter, takes fractions the way you actually write them, and works with no signal at all. FRACTIONS DONE PROPERLY Type 7 3/8 and get 187.325 mm — not 187.3. Tap a fraction key instead of hunting for a decimal. Convert back the other way and see the nearest 1/2 through 1/64, with exact matches marked so a rounded fraction never pretends to be exact. COMPOUND MEASUREMENTS 5' 8", 2 lb 8 oz and 2h 35m are single measurements, and ConvertPro reads and writes them that way. 68 inches comes back as 5 ft 8 in. A KEYPAD BUILT FOR MEASURING Big keys, a fraction slash, a space for mixed numbers, and one-tap fraction shortcuts. No fighting a phone keyboard for a slash. BUILT FOR YOUR TRADE Choose Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Woodworking, Mechanical, Engineering or Cooking — or several. The categories and tools you need come first. PROFESSIONAL CALCULATORS Concrete volume, flooring with waste, paint coverage, slope and grade, board feet, lumber sizes, Ohm's law, AWG wire gauge, voltage drop, pipe volume, duct airflow and recipe scaling. Calculators are clearly marked as calculators. Each one states its assumptions, because an estimate is not a code compliance check. ACCURATE ON PURPOSE Imperial and metric conversions use the exact factors from the 1959 international yard and pound agreement — one inch is exactly 25.4 mm. Pressure, force, torque, power and energy follow SI definitions. Temperature converts affinely, so °C, °F, K and °R all round-trip exactly. AWG figures are computed from the defining formula rather than copied from a table. All of it is covered by an automated test suite. WORKS OFFLINE. ALWAYS. Every conversion, calculator, widget and Shortcut runs on your device. The unit database is inside the app. Airplane Mode changes nothing. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-in. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, no tracking of any kind. Your measurements, history, favorites and projects never leave your device. Conversion history can be switched off entirely. ALSO INCLUDED • Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen • Siri Shortcuts and App Intents that convert without opening the app • Favorites, searchable history and projects • Search that answers "10 ft to m" as you type • Full VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion and Voice Control support • Light and dark themes, both deliberately designed • Eight languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch and Polish FREE FOREVER Length, area, volume, mass, temperature, speed and time conversions. Favorites, history, offline use, and the fraction tool. No ads, and no limit on how much you convert. Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Clearer on site, and quicker to type into. • The answer is bigger, and copy, favourite and the result format now sit with it instead of floating above the keypad • Calculators take fractions on ConvertPro's own keypad — type 7 3/8 straight into a slab depth, with no hunting for a slash on the system keyboard • Results look the same everywhere: the converter, the calculators and search now share one readout • Search results can be copied, or opened straight in the converter • Unit lists open on the unit you are already using, instead of at the top of the list • Stronger contrast in dark mode, and the fraction key is easier to find on the keypad Every conversion still runs entirely on your device. No account, no tracking, no signal required.
