Your steps grow a plant

Today's steps become a change in the pot. 7,000–14,000 steps, depending on the plant, carry it from seed to flower to seed. No daily reset, and nothing ever withers.
Your cumulative step count carries one plant through twelve stages.
A seed sprouts, cotyledons open, true leaves multiply, a bud swells, the flower opens, and eventually the next seed forms. One full round takes 7,000 to 14,000 steps, depending on the plant.
■ No daily reset. Nothing withers.
Your steps do not go back to zero each day. Take three days off and nothing you reached is taken away. There is no way to "fall behind".
■ Read what is visible at each stage
"Cotyledons", "First true leaves", "Bud" — every stage comes with a note describing what you can actually see: the edge of a leaf, the hairs on a stem, how the florets are arranged. Not just a picture to glance at, but somewhere to look.
■ Later stages stay hidden
Images for stages you have not reached yet are locked. Seeing everything up front would not be observation. You walk, you arrive, then you look.
■ 42 plants
Six are free. There are three one-time plant packs, and with all of them you have 42 plants.
- "Colorful Flowerbed", 12 plants (listed with the 6 free ones): Sunflower, Japanese Morning Glory, Cosmos, Tulip, French Marigold, Strawberry, Baby Blue Eyes, Zinnia, Madagascar Periwinkle, Petunia, Heartsease, Snapdragon, Plumed Cockscomb, Globe Amaranth, Pot Marigold, Cornflower, Sweet Pea, Nasturtium.
- "Waiting for Spring", 12 plants: Cyclamen, Hyacinth, Narcissus, Crocus, Stock, Ranunculus, Grape Hyacinth, Anemone, Primrose, Freesia, Snowdrop, Lenten Rose.
- "Balcony Garden", 12 plants: Cherry Tomato, Basil, Eggplant, Bell Pepper, Radish, Shiso, Okra, Peanut, Green Bean, Carrot, Chamomile, Leaf Lettuce.
Each of the 6 free plants can be grown once. Buy any plant pack and you can grow them as many times as you like.
■ Home-screen widgets
Small, medium, and large. Small and large fill the whole widget with the plant. You choose whether step numbers appear. You can also pin a plant you have finished growing.
■ Quiet by design
- No ads
- No account, no sign-in
- No subscription (every plant pack is a one-time purchase)
- The only network use is purchase and restore. Every image and every note ships inside the app
■ About steps
The app reads your step count from Apple Health and never writes to it. It reads no other Health data. It does not use your location.
Available in 45 languages.
Note: this app does not identify plants, judge edibility or toxicity, or offer medical guidance. The notes describe what is visible at each stage.
Ratings & Reviews

Two new plant packs: "Waiting for Spring", 12 plants that bloom from winter into spring, and "Balcony Garden", 12 vegetables and herbs. Both are one-time purchases, and there are now 42 plants in all.
Each plant now has its own course length: 7,000 to 14,000 steps. You can see the steps when choosing a plant (a plant you're already growing still finishes at 10,000). Steps count from the moment you choose a plant, and when one finishes, your next reserved plant starts right away.
