The live meter is free. Recordings, photos and video with the dB on them, dossiers and reports need Hush Pro. No account needed.
Neighbors, a bar terrace, traffic, building works, a site, an event or a facility check: a reading on a meter app is gone when you close it. Hush keeps it.

• L90: the background level, exceeded 90% of the time
• Octave bands show whether it is low rumble, voices or a high whine

Readings are indicative: they are estimated with the iPhone's built-in microphone and depend on the device, its case and how you hold it. Hush is not a certified sound level meter. It does not tell you whether a level is safe for hearing or allowed under any rule. The method and limits are stated in every report.
