Check N is a workplace attendance service. Teams use it to clock in and out from a phone, keep track of work schedules, and manage leave in one place.
Access is by invitation. An administrator issues a pairing code to each member, and the app cannot be used without one — so an organisation's attendance records stay with that organisation.
■ Clock in / Clock out
Clock in and out from your phone. The server confirms you are at the workplace using the organisation's network or your location. Work-from-home days are recorded as well.
■ Work schedule
See this week's schedule and the hours worked so far, and register or adjust your own schedule for upcoming days.
■ Leave
See what is left of your annual leave, unpaid leave and special holidays, together with everything you have used this year. Submit a leave request right in the app.
■ Colleagues
See who is working on a given day so the team can plan around it.
■ Requests
Submit attendance correction and leave requests, and approve them if you are an approver.
■ On-device checks
When you clock in, the app reads the name and router address of the Wi-Fi network you are on together with your current location, and sends them with the record, so the workplace check still works on a shared network. Push notifications remind you when a clock-out is missing.
■ Three languages
Vietnamese, Korean and English — switch at any time from any screen.
About location: the app reads your location only at the moment you tap Clock in or Clock out. It does not track you in the background and records nothing while the app is closed. If you decline the location permission you can still clock in through the organisation's network.
