Hide it, or buy the coffee, in Settings → Library. • Aozora Bunko ZIP files (a TXT inside a ZIP) open directly as e-books. • In vertical writing, "——" and "……" are no longer split across two columns. • Japanese vertical writing (tategaki) with ruby. EPUB and MOBI books made for vertical text open vertically, and Aozora Bunko TXT files get their ruby and chapter headings rendered. Reader menu → Writing direction switches each book between horizontal and vertical. • Shift_JIS Japanese TXT files are detected automatically, and kanji in Japanese books use Japanese glyph forms. • Reads DRM-free MOBI and AZW3 ebooks (.mobi, .prc, .azw, .azw3): table of contents, footnote links, images and covers work like EPUB. DRM-protected files cannot be opened. • Imports Moon+ Reader backups (.mrstd, .mrpro): pick the file under Settings → Backup and your reading positions, bookmarks, highlights and notes land in the EPUB and TXT books with the same file names. • Choose the app's language right at the top of Settings. Pick from 10 languages, whatever your device is set to, and the app switches instantly. You can also change it in the iPhone or iPad Settings app under Yeontan Books → Language. • On devices set to a language the app doesn't support yet, the app now shows English instead of Korean. • You can now turn off the page turn animation. Pages change instantly, with no paper curl. Find it in Settings → Page turn animation; it applies to comics and e-books alike. • Books in cloud folders of the Files app (Dropbox, iCloud and others) now show “Downloading from the cloud” and wait until the file arrives. To avoid downloading whole files just for covers, covers are made after you open a book. If a book you just added doesn’t appear, open that folder once in the Files app and come back. For Dropbox, connecting it directly with “Add storage → Dropbox” shows new books right away and fetches only the pages you read (Cloud Pass). • If a file can’t be read in time, tap Try again instead of going back to the library. • See and clear the AI upscaling cache under Settings. • AI upscaling is faster, and tells you why it pauses (heat, Low Power Mode, low battery). • Long-press a book in Continue for its menu. • Offline copies of books gone from your library are cleaned up.
