Otodama is a word party game for friends who love close calls, quick comebacks and shouting “I knew that!” a second too late. A letter and a category are all you need: B + animal = bear. Easy on paper. A little harder when your friends are waiting for your answer.
One phone. Everyone in.
Add two or more players, gather around one phone and play out loud. Break the ice at a party, start a game night with friends or turn a quiet weekend away into a word battle. This offline group game keeps going even when the Wi-Fi doesn’t.
How competitive are you feeling?
• Rush: You start with 21 seconds. By the final round, you have just 5. Race the countdown to name a matching word: an answer earns a point, getting stuck costs one.
• Duel: Get the word out before your friend. Two players face off over the same letter and category; the first matching answer wins. Keep the word duels going, then compare your win rates.
• Throne: Take the crown and make them work for it. Win to stay in play and face the next challenger. Each win builds your streak; one loss ends it. The longest winning streak wins.
• Paper: Bring a pen, claim your corner of the table and make it your own. Get eight random categories, choose a letter and use your own scoring rules for a pen-and-paper word game.

Rush, Duel, Throne and Paper are all free to play with a limited selection of Classic categories. Try the countdown, challenge a friend or defend your crown before deciding whether you want more categories.

Otodama is free to play. Otodama Unlimited is an optional monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. Both plans unlock the full category library while your subscription is active. The price for your chosen term is shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon purchase confirmation. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Purchases and restoring purchases require an internet connection.
