Yomikaki is a drill for reading and writing Japanese characters. It shows one character at a time. You say whether you remembered it, and spaced repetition decides when you see it again.
WHAT IS INSIDE
- All hiragana and katakana, with Hepburn romaji
- 2,211 kanji sorted into JLPT levels N5, N4, N3, N2 and N1
- On and kun readings and English meanings for every kanji
- Stroke order for every kanji, drawn one stroke at a time with the stroke number
- Spaced repetition with six boxes; characters you miss come back in the same session
- Progress by level, and a day count you are free to ignore

Kanji readings, meanings and stroke counts come from KANJIDIC2 by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG), used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Stroke order comes from KanjiVG, copyright Ulrich Apel, used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence. JLPT level lists come from Jonathan Waller's JLPT Resources, used under the Creative Commons Attribution licence. The level lists are unofficial, and this app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organisers of the JLPT.
