Mydeas is a notes app with real notebooks, nested tags and rich text that syncs to every device you own, lets you edit with other people in real time, and stays out of your way.
NOTEBOOKS AND NESTED TAGS
Organize the way you already think: notebooks with color accents, tags that nest inside other tags, and search that understands notebook: and tag: filters. No stacks, spaces or databases to set up first.
RICH NOTES ON YOUR PHONE
Headings, lists, task lists with due dates, tables, code blocks, quotes, and attachments: photos, video, audio and PDF files. Scan a document with the camera, and if you switch on reading text in images, the words in the scan become searchable too.
WRITE TOGETHER, LIVE
Share a note or a whole notebook with view or edit access, see who else is in the note and watch their edits appear live. Comment on notes, assign tasks to someone with a due date, and publish a read-only public link you can revoke at any time.
WORKS OFFLINE
Edits are stored on the device and merge when you are back online.

Every note keeps its history. Browse earlier versions and restore one from your phone.
ON YOUR MAC AND IN ANY BROWSER
The same account on the Mac app and at app.mydeasapp.com, so the note you started on your phone is open on your desk when you sit down. The Mac app runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and is notarized by Apple. Download it from mydeasapp.com/get.
BRING YOUR NOTES WITH YOU
Import from Evernote (.enex), from Notion (Markdown export), or from a zip of any folder of Markdown files, which covers Apple Notes, an Obsidian vault and a Joplin export. Export any note as Markdown or HTML, or download your whole account, attachments included, as a ZIP. Export is never gated behind a paid plan.
AI AND IMAGE SCANNING ARE OFF UNTIL YOU TURN THEM ON
Two things can send note content to a company that is not us, and each has its own clearly labeled switch. Both are off by default. AI actions send the text of the note you act on to Anthropic for that one action (clean up, summarize, edit). Reading text in images sends each image you attach to AWS Textract, so the words in a receipt or a whiteboard turn up in search. Nothing else is sent, each switch names its vendor, and either can be switched off at any time.
ONE PLAN, PLAIN NUMBERS
Free: 500 notes, 100 MB of storage, 3 devices, and every feature, with a daily cap on the two that cost us money per use: 1 AI action and 20 images read for their text, resetting daily.
A paid plan lifts those limits. Any change to limits or price is announced in advance and never applied retroactively.
Your notes are encrypted in transit and stored on our servers so search, scanning, sharing and optional AI can work. Mydeas is not end-to-end encrypted, and we say so plainly.

Quick capture. Share to Mydeas from any app: a web page becomes a note titled with the page, shared text puts its first line in the title, and files arrive as attachments. Share while you are signed out and Mydeas holds on to it, then tells you so on the sign-in screen.
There is also a home-screen widget that does one thing: open a new note.
Plus a more readable red on warning text — including the delete-forever label in Trash — and the usual reliability fixes.
