Capture the full screen, a selection, or a window from your menu bar — or your own keyboard shortcut. Saved as a PNG, copied to the clipboard, ready to drag out. FHShot puts screen capture one click away. A small camera icon in your menu bar gives you three ways to capture — the full screen, an area you select, or a single window — and saves every shot as a PNG in the folder you choose. WHY FHSHOT • Always within reach — the camera icon lives in your menu bar, so capture is one click from any app. • Three capture modes — Full Screen, Selection, and Window. • Your own keyboard shortcuts — assign a global shortcut to any capture mode and use it from any app, without opening the panel. • Saved where you want — pick a folder once (Desktop, Documents, anywhere) and FHShot remembers it. • Copy as you capture — optionally put every screenshot on the clipboard at the same time it is saved, ready to paste. • Your last five shots — recent captures sit in the panel as thumbnails; click one to open it, or drag it straight into an email, message, or document. • A five-second delay — give yourself time to set up the screen before a full-screen capture. • Familiar file names — shots are named just like macOS names them, such as "Screenshot 2026-09-10 at 9.41.07 AM.png". • Stays out of your way — no Dock icon, no windows, nothing to manage. Open it at login and forget it is there. • Built on macOS — FHShot uses the screenshot engine built into macOS, so captures match the system's own quality, window shadows included. PRIVATE BY DESIGN FHShot has no account, no analytics, and no network access. It runs in the macOS App Sandbox and can only save to the folder you pick. Your screenshots never leave your Mac. GETTING STARTED 1. Click the camera icon in the menu bar and choose a capture mode. 2. The first time, choose the folder where screenshots should be saved. 3. When macOS asks, allow FHShot under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen Recording, then relaunch FHShot. 4. Optional: open "Keyboard Shortcuts…" from the panel and assign your own global shortcuts. Tip: hold ⌘ and drag the camera icon to move it anywhere in your menu bar. Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• Assign your own global keyboard shortcuts to any capture mode, and use them from any app. • Recent captures now appear in the panel: click a thumbnail to open it, or drag it straight into another app. • Optionally copy every screenshot to the clipboard as it is saved. • Added a five-second delay for full-screen captures. • Open FHShot at login with a single toggle. • FHShot now tells you when Screen Recording permission is missing, instead of quietly saving a blank image, and reports save failures rather than logging them. • Wider panel, so no row's description wraps.
