Temporarily block typing in a timed cleaning screen. Tidy your keyboard, then finish anytime with your mouse or let the timer end. Reduce accidental typing while you tidy your keyboard. Stillkeys opens a timed cleaning screen that captures typing while it’s active. Choose how long you need, start a session, and finish with your mouse or trackpad whenever you’re ready. Choose 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes. Typing is captured as soon as you start, including during the three-second preparation countdown. You can end a session in three ways: - Click Finish cleaning with your mouse or trackpad. - Hold Escape for two seconds. - Let the timer finish automatically. The session also ends if Stillkeys loses focus, your Mac goes to sleep, or your display setup changes. Stillkeys works entirely on your Mac, without an internet connection. There are no accounts, ads, or analytics, and it does not save or transmit your keystrokes. Designed for Mac, with light and dark appearances, simple controls, and a built-in cleaning guide. What stays active Stillkeys captures typing in its cleaning screen and disables Command-Tab during a session. It does not turn off your keyboard or block every system shortcut. Power, Touch ID, media keys, and some system controls remain active. Your mouse and trackpad continue to work. Follow your device manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Apple recommends shutting down and disconnecting power before cleaning. Stillkeys does not replace those steps or make liquid cleaning safe. Made by Coffee & Fun LLC
