Tenvori Search

Private local AI search

Only for Mac

Free

Mac

Find information across folders on your Mac without uploading your documents. Tenvori Search builds a private search index from folders you choose. It combines exact full-text matching with local semantic search, OCR for supported images and PDFs, and multilingual retrieval. Search results keep their source location and open the original file in Finder. Simple Mode keeps everyday actions focused on Search, Folders, and Settings. Advanced Mode provides retrieval controls, index details, and an optional authenticated MCP integration for local AI tools. Your documents, search queries, embeddings, and reranking stay on your Mac. Tenvori Search does not require an account, show ads, or track you across apps and websites. Optional usage analytics helps improve the app. No analytics is sent before you confirm your choice with Agree & Close; you can disable it in Settings at any time. Analytics never includes document contents, file names, paths, search queries, or access keys. Key capabilities: - Local full-text and semantic search - OCR for supported images and PDFs - Multilingual retrieval - Automatic updates for selected folders - Read-only, localhost-only MCP integration - No account, cloud upload, tracking, or subscription Requires Apple silicon and macOS 14 or later.
