GoOutToday: Family Days Out
Manchester Kids Days Out
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
GoOutToday takes the guesswork out of family days out.
Instead of scrolling through endless listings, tell GoOutToday about your kids and your day, and it hands you a ranked, explainable answer — built around today's real weather, how far you're willing to drive, and any membership passes you already own.
WHY GOOUTTODAY
Weather-smart recommendations — hot or rainy? Indoor and AC-cooled picks move up the list automatically. Good weather? Outdoor spots get the nod.
Matched to your actual kids — add each child's age once, and every recommendation is scored against it.
Real drive-time control — set a maximum AND a minimum. Tired of the same nearby spot? Push the minimum up and skip it.
Your memberships, factored in — own a National Trust, English Heritage, zoo, or science-center pass? GoOutToday knows what's free with it and boosts those picks.
3-tap Quick Decision Wizard — how much time you have, how far you'll drive, and the vibe you're after. Get your top picks in seconds, no scrolling required.
Browse by brand — jump straight to every National Trust or English Heritage property near you, regardless of which passes you own.
Local events, in one place — a curated feed of what's on nearby, with limited-time free-entry days flagged the moment they're live.
Real venues, real details — verified addresses, parking info, and a direct link to each venue's own site to check tickets and holiday hours before you go.
WHERE WE COVER
GoOutToday is strongest right now in Greater Manchester and the North West of England (Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, and the Peak District edge) — with more places added every week.
Built by a parent, for parents tired of the daily "what should we do today?" scramble.
