- Messages that always arrive. A message written with a weak or no connection now waits on your phone and sends itself as soon as you're back online. While it's on its way it's shown greyed out, and you can discard it if you change your mind. - New messages stay in view. When someone writes, or you send from another device, the newest message now always lands right above the composer, including while someone is typing. - Huddles sound like a phone call. Voice huddles now start on the earpiece and the screen turns off when you hold the phone to your ear. Video huddles use the loudspeaker. AirPods and headsets still take over automatically. - Calls ring properly. A huddle call now rings as a real iPhone call even while Zed is open, and keeps ringing if you leave the app. - Download files straight from the file viewer and the Files list. The viewer also turns to landscape. - Long messages and code are shown short in the conversation and open in full with a tap. - Better text everywhere. Č, ć, đ, ğ, ş, İ and Cyrillic are now shown in the same font as everything else. - Plus faster reactions and smoother sheets, "Seen by" in threads, and many smaller fixes.

• Catch Up — swipe through your unread conversations one card at a time, and read them without opening each chat. • Share to Zed — send photos, files and text to any conversation straight from the share sheet in other apps. • Saved, redesigned — In progress, Archived and Completed tabs, "Remind me" on any message, and snooze a reminder right from the notification. • Drafts & Sent — a new screen with swipe to delete; scheduled messages can now be opened and edited before they go out. • Activity — swipe a notification to clear it (with Undo), or press and hold for a quick preview. • Press and hold any conversation on Home or in DMs to peek at it without opening it. • Huddles — see your past huddles, including the calls you missed. • Statuses can use custom emoji, animated ones included. • Sort the conversations inside each Home section: your own order, A–Z or most recent. • Choose a notification sound for each channel and group DM. • See who's typing in a card just above the message box. • The message box now follows the keyboard when you swipe it away. • Voice messages play even with the silent switch on. • Forwarded messages: tap to open the original or its file. • Plus many smaller fixes and speed improvements.

Others see you as offline; you still get every notification. • Apps work fully on the phone: their cards, buttons and forms, including answers only you can see. • Notifications name the workspace when you are in more than one, and play the sound you picked — for your whole account, or for one person. • See who is typing, and others see when you type • Rename a channel and edit its topic and description. • "Start date" on your profile. • "Mark all as read" in Activity. • @channel and @here in the mention list, in chann • Muted conversations are dimmed with a crossed-out bell, and show no unread number. • Apps can be added to Favourites. • Custom emoji show as pictures in messages, reactions and the message box, and the emoji picker finds flags by country. • What you type in New message is kept as a draft, a channel. • Zed opens without a network and shows what it last loaded. • Many smaller fixes.

• Hold a conversation on Home for its menu: add it to Favourites, move it to a section, or remove it from Home — and a person removed from Home on your computer leaves Home here too. • Hide your email address or phone number from other members, under Edit profile. • Change or remove your profile photo from the phone. • Slash commands typed on the phone now run, with the app's sub-commands completed as you type. • Admins can delete any message. • Invited to a workspace? Accepting the invitation signs you up right on the phone. • The app tells you when a new version is available, and smaller fixes arrive on their own — no store visit needed. • Labels and photos fit on smaller screens. • Fixes: a starred conversation shows under Favourites; the "/" and "@" popups open reliably; a copied link opens correctly; you are told when you have been removed from a workspace.

• Zed now speaks your language: Bosnian, Albanian, Macedonian, Turkish and German, switchable in Preferences • Join a workspace straight from an invitation link and create your account in the app • Links to Zed conversations and messages now open right in the app • Smoother photo viewer: pinch-to-zoom no longer gets mistaken for swipe-to-close • New message: the chat stays above the keyboard and no longer closes while scrolling • Copied links to messages and files now open correctly for everyone • Faster, more reliable connection and many smaller fixes

A new look: the new Zed logo and app icon. Video messages keep their shape while loading, and several fixes to sign-in and password reset.

Calls, rebuilt • Huddles now work like real phone calls. Answer from the lock screen, see the call in the Dynamic Island, and mute or hang up from the system call screen — even with Zed in the background. • Zed asks for microphone access up front, so you can be heard the moment you answer. Stay on top of things • A small dot on Home, DMs and Activity shows where something new is waiting. • The app icon badge now clears as soon as you read your messages. • Turn notifications and microphone access back on any time from You → Notifications. Small touches • Edited messages are marked "(edited)". • "Seen" shows the day, not just the time, for anything older than today. • Empty screens have fresh illustrations. • Profile photos now appear in thread replies. • Offline status shows as a hollow dot, matching desktop. • Fixes for mentions wrapping across lines and other small bugs.

• Photos open straight from the message and swipe back into it, smoothly. • A new voice message player: tap or drag to seek, and play at 0.5×, 1×, 1.5× or 2×. • Sign-in is easier: Zed remembers your email and can save and fill your password with iCloud Keychain. • The keyboard no longer jumps around on the sign-in screen. • A lighter, cleaner workspace menu on iPhone. • Zed opens faster, showing your conversations while the latest ones load. • Many smaller fixes and performance improvements.
