SCORING A WICKET Every way a batter can be out is now on one sheet, with an icon for each. Bowled, caught behind and lbw record in a single tap — there was never a second question worth asking about a bowled. • A run-out can name both fielders, the one who threw and the one who received, and record whether the throw hit the stumps directly • A catch can be marked as a brilliant catch, and it stays on the scorecard • A retirement no longer uses up a ball of the over, or a ball faced, or a ball in the bowler's figures • The over now shows how each wicket fell rather than "W" for all of them BETWEEN OVERS AND BETWEEN INNINGS The end-of-over and end-of-innings screens open from the bottom of the screen, with the over's figures first and the bowler for the next one after it. If the player you need isn't in the squad, Add new puts them in without leaving the screen. If you close the end-of-innings options by mistake, the pad now tells you how to get them back instead of leaving you stuck. SCORING WITH NO SIGNAL A whole match can be scored with no signal at all, not just the odd ball. Everything you enter is kept on the phone and sends itself when the connection returns — including the full detail of how each wicket fell. SIGNING IN One way into the app, asking one question at a time.

Add players by name You no longer need someone's phone number to add them. Start typing a name or an @handle anywhere you add a player — a match squad, a team, a tournament's captains, officials, your ground's staff — and pick them from the suggestions. Their name fills in for you. Typing a number now checks whether that person is already on Criczo before creating a new entry, so one player stops becoming two. Correct the toss Picked the wrong captain at the toss? You can now put it right from the scoring settings, even after play has begun. Grounds spelled one way City and ground are now pickers rather than free text, so the same ground is recognised as the same ground every time. Messages Chats now open at the newest message instead of the oldest, and the message icon shows how many conversations are waiting.

Posting a reel is faster and more forgiving • Picking a cover frame no longer takes several seconds • A dropped signal while uploading now retries instead of failing — what has already uploaded is kept • The video picker is simpler, with a direct link to your phone's own gallery • Fixed polls and linked reels failing to post • Fixed a freeze when scrolling reels on some phones

REELS Record a clip and post it without leaving Criczo. Reels now fill the screen edge to edge, with a scrubber you can drag, tap to pause, and double tap to like. Sound is on from the first frame. Share one and it arrives as the reel itself — one tap to WhatsApp, and it plays where it lands instead of sending somebody to a blank page. My Reels collects everything you have posted, and is the first place you can take one down. Uploads survive a bad connection. A clip now goes up in parts with a progress bar, and picks up where it stopped instead of starting again. COMMENTS Like a comment, reply to one, and name somebody with @. Replies show straight away rather than hiding behind a tap, which is what made answering one worth doing. USERNAMES Everyone has a handle now. It sits on your profile card, and you can search for a player by it when you are filling a squad. TOURNAMENT AUCTIONS Icon players replace sponsors. Mark anyone in the auction as an icon, choose the side they play for, and sell a side on more than one of them. A captain can be an icon too. Add people to an auction by username, and swap somebody out without losing their fee, their side, or the icons promised to them. Players now appear in the auction whether or not their fee has been marked as received — so nobody goes missing on the night while the cash is still being counted. SCORING Changing the bowler or the batter mid-over now asks what happened: somebody was replaced, or the wrong name was recorded. The balls already bowled stay where they belong either way. NOTIFICATIONS Fixed the permission prompt asking again and again on first run, and sometimes never registering the answer — which is why some phones were getting no notifications at all. ELSEWHERE Follow a tournament from My Cricket. Screens that are loading now show the shape of what is coming instead of a blank column. Fixed: a tournament screen that would not open, reels that could take a message down with them, a reel that stayed paused when you came back to the tab, and a captain badge that was unreadable in the light theme.
