Health course & self-tests
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Learn from a free health course, measure yourself with real fitness tests, track sleep, water and steps — and add coaching from Coach Amr El Gamal only if you want it.
Gamal Health & Wellness is a health-education app from Egyptian coach Amr El Gamal. It teaches you how your body actually works, lets you measure it, and gives you the option of personal coaching when you want it.
LEARN — A FREE COURSE
Start with "The Essentials in Your Pocket", a free course written by Coach Amr. Short, structured lessons on training principles, nutrition basics, recovery and sleep — each followed by a quiz with a pass mark, so you can check what you actually absorbed before moving on. New lessons and resources are added over time.
MEASURE YOURSELF
Knowledge only matters when it is personal. The app includes a full set of self-assessments with clear scoring and explanations:
• Strength test, Cooper endurance test and mobility test
• Physique analyzer and biological-age calculator
• BMR calculators (Mifflin-St Jeor and Katch-McArdle)
• Daily water-intake calculator
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
• Sleep, water and weight logging with history
• Activity and steps dashboard
• Optional Apple Health connection — read-only, only after you grant permission, and the on-screen banner lists exactly which data types are read
TRAIN — OPTIONAL COACHING
When you are ready for guidance, coaching by Coach Amr El Gamal is available as an optional in-app membership: training programs and nutrition plans prepared for you, with progress tracked in the app. Coaching is an upgrade, never a requirement — the course and every self-assessment tool stay free.
