REQUIRES YOUR OWN ROUTER
For GL.iNet Mudi 7: GL-E5800, GL-E5800NA and GL-E5800EU, compatible firmware 4.10, administrator SSH access and local Wi-Fi on the same IPv4 subnet. Hardware sold separately. Earlier Mudi and Mudi V2 are not supported. Regional model recognition is included; full physical validation of NA/EU variants is pending.
CHECK, UNDERSTAND, ACT
See battery, temperature, cellular signal, connection state and reading ages. Follow observed upload/download rates and signal, battery and temperature trends while the app is active. Review locally recorded network events. Connection Check separates local access, uplink state, DNS/reachability and service status; optional internet tests require confirmation.
WI-FI & CONNECTED DEVICES
Manage supported main/guest Wi-Fi and share access by QR. View connected devices, online/offline status and router-reported usage. Adjust supported device names, access and speed limits, and fixed IP reservations. Manage SIM/APN/roaming/network mode, repeater connections and uplink priority; read router SMS locally.
YOUR EXISTING OPENCLASH
Start or stop the service; select Rule, Global or Direct mode. Search, favorite and select existing nodes; collapse or reorder groups locally. Inspect connection targets and paths, close selected connections, search existing rules, update supported provider collections and save manual-group selection presets.
OpenClash must already be installed and configured. No nodes or subscriptions are supplied. Full configuration subscription switching and custom rule editing are not included.
VPN ON YOUR ROUTER
Control supported WireGuard and OpenVPN clients and servers. Import supported files or compatible single-peer WireGuard QR codes. Review devices/destinations, fallback profile order and disconnect protection; manage server access and export configurations. Optional Tailscale and ZeroTier require their services and authorization.
Tunnels run on the router. The app does not create an iPhone VPN or supply accounts, servers, subscriptions or a traffic relay. Bring your own configuration. CGNAT may prevent inbound server access. Unverified service combinations are blocked.
TOOLS FOR EVERYDAY CONTROL
Supported DNS, LAN conflict diagnosis, optional AdGuard Home controls and schedules. Encrypted local configuration backups with included-file lists and same-router/firmware restore checks. Backups are not full firmware images and may omit OpenClash assets. Restart and shutdown require a final slide to confirm; physical shutdown depends on firmware support.
LOCAL BY DESIGN
Host-pinned SSH and verified login in device-only Keychain. No developer cloud account, advertising or analytics SDK. Requested features can access sensitive router information, including SMS, connection addresses and VPN credentials. See the privacy policy for local retention, deletion, exports and support email. Router VPN/overlay services, explicit network/latency tests and provider downloads may contact external services.
REFRESH YOUR WAY
Automatic while open, or manual. Locking or leaving the app stops automatic reads. Widgets show selected fields from the last saved reading and its age; they do not poll the router. Trends cover observed intervals only; events are capped at 30 days/2,000 records. No continuous background recorder is installed. Router traffic history needs a compatible recorder such as nlbwmon already installed; counters are not carrier billing or remaining allowance. Light, Dark or Follow System.
