WorktreeBar is a native macOS menu bar app for browsing Git worktrees in repositories you explicitly authorize.
Click the menu bar icon to see every worktree in the selected repository, the branch or detached revision it has checked out, then open that folder or launch it in a terminal.
Features:
• Menu bar list of worktrees for the selected repository
• Branch names, detached HEADs, locked worktrees, and missing or prunable paths
• Multiple saved repositories, with a picker for the active one
• Click a row to open the folder (configurable)
• Trailing button opens Terminal by default (configurable: Finder, iTerm, Warp, and more)
• Manual refresh plus optional auto-refresh
• Settings for repositories, actions, sorting, path display, and open at login
WorktreeBar reads Git administrative metadata directly and does not invoke /usr/bin/git, so it works reliably inside the Mac App Store sandbox. It only accesses folders you grant.
Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.
