Spotted Safety is a private-by-default personal record-keeping and preparedness planning application designed for adults. It provides an individual with a calm, structured format to document personal observations, prepare personal safety and preparedness plans, and format factual summaries that the user can deliberately review and share. Spotted Safety operates entirely local-first on your device. It requires no user account, connects to no remote server, and collects zero telemetry or analytics. WHAT SPOTTED SAFETY HELPS YOU DO: • Record Factual Observations: Document physical conditions, access issues, or environmental circumstances using the DHS "What, When, Where" framework. • Provenance & Source Transparency: Clearly see where each detail originated—whether user-entered, timestamp-confirmed, or captured via on-demand GPS. • Personal Preparedness Planning: Author self-directed, non-directive plan notes across 6 key areas, including immediate contacts, safe places, and important records. • Manual Trusted Contacts: Keep important numbers accessible without the app ever scanning your device address book. • Export Review Safety Boundary: Inspect an exact field-by-field checklist before sharing any summary. Sensitive data (GPS coordinates, private notes, and photos) are excluded by default. • App Lock & Biometrics: Shield your screen with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode to reduce casual exposure. • Complete Data Ownership: Export your complete local database as JSON or permanently wipe all local data with a single command. CRITICAL SAFETY BOUNDARY & WHAT SPOTTED SAFETY IS NOT: Spotted Safety is not an emergency service, 911 dispatcher, law enforcement reporting channel, or automated alert system. • It CANNOT detect danger, predict crime, or monitor your location in the background. • It CANNOT dispatch police, fire, medical services, or hotlines automatically. • It does NOT verify evidence, investigate claims, or certify legal validity. • It has NO public feed, social network, or community reporting system.
