The Community tab has been removed from Settings. BEAN TALK does not have a community.

The video-call camera is mirrored by default on mobile devices. Rooms you have not joined show a short notice instead of the conversation. Settings now has a Community tab.

- When sending photos or files, you can now pick straight from your photo library. - Tap a photo or file in a chat to save it or send it to another app. - Social sign-in now opens in a dedicated sign-in window that closes by itself when you finish. - Auto sign-in details and saved passwords are now kept in the device keychain. - If the screen ever goes blank, the app reloads it by itself.

- The [Minimize] and [End call] buttons at the top of the call screen are now joined into one group and aligned to the right.

- Changed the gray background of regular buttons to white.

- Fixed the social sign-in notice text overflowing its box on narrow screens in Japanese.

- Refined the whole interface with the new design: grouped buttons and accent-coloured surfaces. - Fixed video calls where portrait and landscape video were sent the wrong way round. - Restored the size of the main video and thumbnails on the call screen, and tidied the per-person volume popup and the microphone icon colours. - Audio settings now let you choose input and output channels as pairs. - Photo previews now fill their frame, and taps and long presses give haptic feedback. - Fixed the Info tab in Settings going missing and the channel count text overflowing. - Fixed Settings text being clipped or split vertically on iPad in portrait. - Fixed the "in call" line above the call view being clipped in longer languages, and dashboard stat labels overflowing.

- The whole app has a new design: sign-in, side panel, home, chat, calls, participants and settings. - Refreshed light and dark colors, with twenty accent colors to choose from. - Settings are now a list on the left with grouped cards, and on/off items are switches. - Each room row in the side panel shows the last message, time, call in progress and unread count. - The message bar and the call layout have been reorganized. - Fixed places where items overflowed on narrow screens.

- The screen now shrinks above the keyboard. Fixed the room header disappearing in chat, the message box hiding behind the keyboard, and the sign-up sheet title being cut off. - Fixed the screen zooming in when you tap a text field. - Long-press opens the room, message and member-management menus. - Buttons and lists no longer get tapped while you scroll. - Settings sliders: tap once to select, then drag anywhere on the slider to change it. - Larger touch targets for buttons and list rows. - Fixed text being cut off and dialogs running off small screens. - Empty rooms and lists now show a hint and shortcut buttons. - Call video colours now match Mac and Windows.

The icons in the tab bar at the bottom of the phone screen now sit in the middle of the bar, so no empty space is left below them. The in-call bar and notifications now appear above the tab bar and no longer cover it or the message box. Your profile row under the room list and the button row at the bottom of dialogs now reach the edge of the screen, and the status menu no longer covers your profile row. On iPad, the empty strip at the bottom of the screen is gone.

Camera and microphone access is now asked once by the system, under the app's name. The extra prompt that showed the app's internal address is gone. The home screen name and the permission messages follow your device language. Settings have a cleaner layout. Help for each section opens from the How to use button at the bottom left, and the About tab now tells you about the app. Opening Settings no longer turns on the microphone; the level meter only runs on the Audio tab. Lists longer than ten rows scroll inside, and the selected row in room lists and menus fills the row edge to edge. Text that was left untranslated is now translated. Calls do less work placing video and counting read receipts.

Video call settings now have a Mirror option for the camera. When it is on, your own view and the video the others receive are both flipped left to right, and switching it during a call takes effect right away. Screen sharing is never flipped. During a call, switching to another app keeps the tile you were watching in a small window on top of other apps. It closes when you come back to the app or end the call. While you are in another app, the others see your video paused, and audio keeps flowing. On iPad, the layout no longer switches to the desktop version when the app screen appears late.

- Fixed names in the small call tiles being partly hidden behind the sound level meter. - Fixed the chat list being pushed up when a call opens, which hid the latest messages. - Fixed message times and the muted-microphone label reading oddly in languages other than Korean. - The notice shown after the app closes unexpectedly now matches the other BEAN apps.

The area below the login button is now tidier. Only three buttons sit under Log in: Sign up, Sign up with SNS, and Find ID / password. Before, six social login buttons were laid out like plain text and looked cluttered. Tap Sign up with SNS to see the social accounts the server allows, one button per line. A new account is signed up on the spot; an account that is already registered signs straight in. Sheets such as Sign up used to float in the middle of the screen and looked cut off at the bottom. They now slide up from the bottom, and the screen behind them is dimmed.

You can now sign in with a social account right from the login screen. Buttons appear for whichever of Google, Naver, Kakao, Apple, Facebook and X the server has turned on. Tapping one opens the sign-in page inside the app, and when you finish you come straight back into BEAN TALK. If the account is new, it is created on the spot. The sign-up form now follows the server's member settings. It only asks for the fields the server uses and checks the password against the same rules as the server. Members who joined with a social account can also delete their account from Account settings. Instead of a password, they confirm once more with that social account.

Fixed no audio in either direction when you came back from another app and joined a voice call. On iPhone the system takes the microphone and silences it when the app goes to the background - the track stays alive, so the app kept reusing a microphone that was already silent. The app now wakes the audio and takes a fresh microphone when it returns to the foreground, and recovers on its own if you leave and come back during a call. Also fixed the preview tile flickering in and out with the sound dropping each time, and mute not responding.

Calls are much more reliable now. - Lighter on your device with several people in the room, and it connects even on restricted networks. - You can talk with people on the web, on Mac and on Windows. - Fixed voices sounding squashed and first syllables being cut off. Calling changed in this version, so it will not connect to older versions. Please ask the people you call to update as well.
