Close your MacBook with confidence. Lidscape uses your lid movement to progressively blur, darken, or recede your on-screen content, helping keep it private as you close the display.
Choose a visual response that fits your workflow: Frost + Black, Blur Only, or Recede + Reflection. Adjust the activation angle, effect strength, and frame rate, or use Preview to see the effect without moving the lid.
Lidscape renders the current desktop locally with Metal. Screen Recording permission is used only to render the effect: your screen image stays on your Mac and is never saved, collected, or transmitted.
Requires macOS 14 or later and a supported MacBook lid sensor.
