Music, clipboard, AirDrop, a browser and widgets in your MacBook's notch. All free, no ads: the only paid extra is a longer clipboard history. NotchMac turns your MacBook's notch into a dynamic island. Move the pointer close and it expands; move away and it disappears. Press Option-Command-N to open it without touching the mouse. NOW PLAYING Whatever is playing in Spotify or Music, with artwork, a progress bar you can drag to jump anywhere in the song, and volume. With the island closed, the artwork and a small equalizer sit beside the notch. CLIPBOARD Everything you copy, one click away. Search it, copy it again, or send it straight to your favourite AI assistant. SHELF AND AIRDROP Drag files onto the notch and keep them there: AirDrop in one click, or drag them into any other app. New files in your Downloads folder show up on their own. WEB AND AI A browser inside the island, with bookmarks, and a tab for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot with a field that sends your question through. WIDGETS Clock, weather, CPU, memory, disk, your next events, and a timer whose countdown stays visible in the notch itself. EVERYTHING IS FREE, WITH NO ADS Now playing, clipboard, shelf, AirDrop, browser, AI and widgets are all free. No ads, no accounts, no tracking, no subscriptions, and nothing of yours is sent anywhere. The only paid extra is a small one: the free clipboard keeps your last 10 snippets. Clipboard Pro is a single purchase that takes it to 200, stores the images you copy and lets you pin the ones you always use. Requires macOS 14 or later. Reading what is playing needs permission to control Spotify and Music. The calendar widget only asks for access if you use it.
