AMOUNTS THAT ACTUALLY ADD UP
Three recipes that each need garlic give you one line: 7 cloves. Tally knows that 1 lb and 8 oz make 1½ lb, that 3 teaspoons is a tablespoon, and that half a can is still a can you have to buy. Amounts that measure different things stay separate instead of being guessed at, and a long-press shows exactly which recipes a total came from.
