Watch Link を使用するには、同じネットワーク上の Mac で、無料の「LiveSceneRemote Router」を起動しておく必要があります。Router は Mac App Store ではなく、note から配布しており、この iPhone アプリだけでは本番の操作はできません。
Watch Link は、Apple Watch で行ったボタン操作を Mac の Router へ中継する iPhone 用アプリです。Router を通じて、Ableton Live のシーン、または Figure 53 QLab のキューに対する GO、STOP、送り、戻しを実行でき、シーンやキューの一覧も iPhone と Apple Watch に表示されます。
Router を準備する前でも操作の流れを確認できるように、サンプルのキュー一覧を使うデモ表示を内蔵しています。デモ表示では iPhone と Apple Watch の動きを確認できますが、実際の公演やリハーサルでは必ずオフにしてください。
接続先は Bonjour を使って自動的に検索し、初回設定時のみ Router の URL を貼り付けます。「Web リモートを開く」にタッチすると、その時点で見つかっている接続先を Safari で開くため、Mac のアドレスが変わった場合にも対応できます。
すべての通信は同じネットワーク内で行われ、インターネットには送信されません。アプリは無料で、広告やアプリ内課金はなく、利用者のデータも収集していません。
