Phileas
Utilities
$1.99 · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Phileas brings your chosen cities together on a shared 24-hour clock for Apple Watch and iPhone. Each city has its own hour hand, identified by its initials, so you can compare local times at a glance. Instead of comparing separate digital clocks, you see those relationships directly. One complete turn represents one complete day.
The watch is a sort of view of the earth from above North pole. Earth is rotating from West to East - so opposite to what usual clock do. Add cities to add hands.
Noon above and Midnight below. The dial places noon at the top and midnight at the bottom - because it feels like facing the sun.
There are 2 lines drawn on the watch, one is fixed and joins the center of the watch to 24h. The other moves with the earth. These lines are the date change lines, if one crosses them, the date changes. These 2 lines define places on earth where the date are the same - these dates are displayed at the bottom of the app.
There is a minute and a second hand running on a smaller circle - they both run from West to East.
