AirEscape Arcade Shooter
Casual
$0.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
AirEscape is a vertically scrolling arcade shooter built for one thumb. Drag anywhere to fly and your guns fire on their own, so all you have to think about is where to be.
TEN WORLDS, FIFTY MISSIONS
Fight across ten themed campaigns painted from above in crisp aerial detail: Ocean Assault, Arctic Storm, Jungle Warfare, Desert Strike, Volcanic Fury, City Siege, Canyon Run, Night Ops, Alien World and the Final Assault on an enemy space station. Every campaign returns four more times at higher tiers, each harder than the last, for fifty missions in total.
A BOSS AT THE END OF EVERY LEVEL
Aircraft carriers, ice fortresses, jungle citadels, volcanic reactors and an alien mothership. Every tenth mission ends with a big boss: bigger, tougher and firing far more.
DEFEND THE GROUND, RESCUE THE STRANDED
Gun emplacements sit on real bunkers, breakwaters and rooftops in the terrain. Stranded pilots drift on open water waiting for a pickup. Rescue them all, destroy every enemy and finish without a scratch to earn all three medals on a level.
BUILD YOUR JET IN THE HANGAR
Spend the stars you collect on your main gun, homing missiles, a laser, a shield, a star magnet and mega bombs that clear the screen when things get desperate.

Boss fights, rebuilt: every boss now fights in three phases. Between phases it shields up in blue and sheds plates of armour, then comes back with a new pattern. Its health bar always drains, and no phase drags on. Bosses go down in a longer death sequence: the hull chars, heats white, goes quiet, then ends in one blast with shockwave rings.
Enemy fire you can read: shots have a white-hot core, a flame ring and a dark rim so they show up on every stage. Each kind has its own shape: a red orb and a magenta capsule. High contrast mode draws them in pure white and black.
Stars you can catch: loot arcs up and rains down trailing gold. Catch it high for full value, and fly clean for double stars until your first hit. Every boss ends in a payday fountain of stars. Your first upgrade is in reach after your first clear, and when one is ready the results screen takes you straight to it in the hangar. Endless and the Daily Challenge now bank 30% of their stars, so the campaign is the place to earn.
Fairer hits: only the drawn plane counts. Its wings can be hit, but clear air around it can't. Near misses spark and score once the shot has truly gone by.
Calmer when you need it: with Reduce Motion or Dim Flashing Lights on, every flash and blink calms down while warnings stay readable. The score and hull readouts step aside when shots pass under them, and power-ups carry glyphs for Differentiate Without Colour.
Smoother victories: the star shower after a big boss no longer slows the game down.
Mega Bombs now take a tenth of a boss's health and can't skip a phase.
