Memories Around is a map of those moments — yours, and other people's.
LEAVE A MEMORY WHERE IT HAPPENED
Write what happened, add a photograph, and pin it to the spot. Give it a mood — nostalgic, discovery, peaceful, electric, cozy, bittersweet — and the date it belongs to, which does not have to be today. Some memories are twenty years old and only now worth writing down.
SEE WHAT HAPPENED HERE BEFORE
Open the map and find what other people have left around you. A city you have lived in for years is full of moments you never knew about. Filter by mood, by how far you want to look, and by when it happened.
COME BACK TO WHAT MATTERS
Save the memories and places you want to return to. Get a quiet notification when you are near somewhere you saved, so a place you meant to visit does not stay a note you forgot.
FOR PLACES WORTH REMEMBERING
Thousands of landmarks, museums, viewpoints and parks are already on the map, so there is somewhere to start wherever you open it.
QUIET BY DESIGN
A memory is yours until you decide otherwise. Keep it private, or let it be found. Turn comments off on anything you would rather not be answered. Report anything that does not belong, and block anyone you would rather not hear from — both take effect immediately.
PREMIUM
The free version covers everyday use: twenty memories a day, ten saved items, and five kilometres of map around you. Premium removes the distance limit, lets you search anywhere on the map, saves as much as you like, and turns on notifications for places you are near.
Memories Around works best in places you already know. Start with the ones you walk past every day.
