Crankset is a bike computer that lives in your pocket. Start a ride, put the phone away, and it records speed, distance and time from GPS. There is no account to make, no feed to scroll and no subscription.
The ride screen shows one number big enough to read at speed, with distance, trip time, average speed and moving time underneath. Moving time stops at red lights on its own, so your average reflects riding rather than waiting.
What you get
• Live speed, distance, trip time and moving time
• Automatic pause detection at stops
• Lock Screen Live Activity and Dynamic Island
• Route map and speed graph for every finished ride
• Monthly totals: distance, time, ride count
• Metric or imperial units
Built to stay out of the way
No sign-in, no leaderboards, no notifications nudging you to upgrade. Crankset opens on the ride screen, and the only thing on it is a start button.
Kind to your battery
Location updates are throttled to what the numbers actually need, and the Live Activity refreshes when something changes rather than on a timer. A three-hour ride costs a fraction of what turn-by-turn navigation would.
Private by default
Rides are stored on your device and never leave it unless you export them yourself. There is no account, so there is nothing to opt out of.
One purchase. Every future ride included.
