OverUnder: Home BP Journal

7-day AM/PM averages in words

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Log home readings with a big, easy keypad and see your 7-day morning and evening averages in plain words. Not a medical device. No ads, no sign-in. OverUnder is a home blood pressure journal. Write down the readings you take at home, and it tells you in plain words how your morning and evening averages look. One reading can make you worry too much, or relax too soon. Home blood pressure is best read as an average of morning and evening readings over several days, and that's how OverUnder shows it. WHO IT'S FOR • You keep a paper blood pressure log • Your cuff doesn't connect by Bluetooth • You aren't sure if your numbers are good or not • It's hard to explain your home readings to a doctor EASY TO ENTER A large, dedicated keypad for your top number, bottom number, and pulse. It moves to the next box on its own. Pulse is optional. Measured twice? Add the second reading, and the app saves the average. Readings are sorted into morning (4 a.m.–noon) or evening (7 p.m.–midnight) by time. Readings taken after midnight, before 2 a.m., count as the previous evening. You can change this. YOUR AVERAGES, IN PLAIN WORDS The Today page tells you how things look, in words, with your 7-day morning and evening averages below. An average appears once you have 5 days of readings in the last 7 days. Until then, the app tells you how many more days you need. Your averages are compared with the home reference values in the 2025 AHA/ACC high blood pressure guideline. Words and colors show whether they're below the reference values, a little higher, or at or above them. It's a comparison of numbers, not a judgment about your health. A SINGLE VERY HIGH READING If one reading is very high, the app tells you right away. It suggests resting and measuring again, and getting medical care right away if you have symptoms such as chest pain, a severe headache, or numbness. THREE COURSES Pick the course closest to your situation, and the app suggests how to measure and which reminders to use. Switch anytime in Settings. The reference values are the same in every course. • Close Care: serious concerns about your heart or blood pressure, or you see a doctor for it. Measure every morning and evening. • Take a Closer Look: your blood pressure came up at a checkup, or you're starting to wonder. Measure morning and evening for 2 weeks. • Healthy Habits: you feel fine and want to look after yourself. Measure morning or evening on days you can. MEDICINE AND LIFE TAGS Note whether you took your morning or evening medicine. Add tags (alcohol, short on sleep, salty food, exercise, stress, feeling unwell) and a memo. A CALENDAR OF PEBBLES Each day gets a pebble split in two: top for morning, bottom for evening, colored to match that day's reading. Missed times stay uncolored, so you can see your measured days at a glance. A WEEK GRAPH THAT'S EASY TO READ Each bar runs from your bottom number to your top number, with the values on the bar. Morning and evening bars sit side by side in different colors. Medicine and life tags line up under each day. REMINDERS ONLY WHEN YOU NEED THEM You get a reminder only if you haven't measured yet. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server. SHOW YOUR DOCTOR Your averages, highest readings, the graph, and your medicine and tags on one page, in large text you can hand straight to your doctor. PRIVACY • No sign-in. Start right away (anonymous) • No ads, no in-app purchases • Records are kept in your own private storage (Google Cloud, Tokyo). No one else can see them • We never sell your records PLEASE NOTE This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It helps you record and review your own readings. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice. The words and colors are a comparison with the guideline's reference values. Don't change your medicine based on the app; always follow your doctor's instructions. If you're worried about how you feel, talk to a healthcare professional, whatever your readings show. WHAT'S NEW • Morning and evening reminders now start off. If you want them, turn them on in Settings under Reminders • When you turn a reminder on in Settings, the app now asks your device for permission, so a reminder can no longer look on while staying silent This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
