Wakeful is an alarm clock that will not turn off until you have done something.
No snooze. No dismiss. You choose the mission the night before, and in the morning it is the only way to make the ringing stop.
MISSIONS
• Math — three problems on the app's own keypad
• Shake — twenty-five real ones
• Push-ups, sit-ups, squats — watched by the camera
• Brush your teeth, a photo of the sky, a mirror selfie, your made bed
• Find an object — it names one, you go and bring back a photo
• Surprise me — a different mission every morning
Mission photos are checked and then deleted. Nothing is stored.
IT DOES NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER
It rings with the switch on silent. If you went to bed with the volume down, it turns the volume back up. Closing the app does not end the morning.
A STREAK YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREAK
Every completed mission is one day. Miss one and it goes back to zero. Two rest days a week are yours, for the mornings you are allowed to sleep in.
Built for people who have tried every gentle alarm on the App Store and slept through all of them.
